Did you know you could:

• double click in the library to import a file
• hold shift while moving an item to lock on an axis
• split an item: right click on the item stripe, then choose 'Split', or press Ctrl + B
• add a marker: right click on the area just below the timebar, then choose 'Add marker'
• set keyframe easing: right click on a keyframe
• copy/paste an effect: to copy an effect click the icon next to the eye on the effect properties, then, on another item, use the paste effect button to paste
